Born and reared in the South, I moved to
Maui with a distinct Southern accent that I now claim to
be the result of living in South Maui! Coming from a
long line of "educators", I followed the family
tradition and became a math instructor. I taught in
various high schools and Technical Schools in the South
before moving to Maui in 1994.
In 1995, I started my own Real
Estate business and progressed from being a Salesperson
to a Broker. I have found that being in "real
estate" is very similar to being in "education". In
both occupations, honesty and integrity are crucial.
You must get to know your clients, just you did your
students, and to assist them in buying, selling, or
managing their property in a totally ethical manner -
always cognizant of your fiduciary obligation.
Our small "family run business" has two
parts. We manage condos
( Max. of 25 ) in Maalaea and we do sales and listings
statewide. I have a "fun job" that allows me to meet so
many wonderful people daily!
